We are very proud to announce that SC Simulations, LLC was invited by Thrusmaster to attended E3 2010 in Los Angeles, California to showcase their upcoming hands on throttle and stick, the A-10C Warthog. SC Simulations was recommended to Thrustmaster by whom you all are familiar with, the Virtual Thunderbirds, and eventually contracted to build a full A-10 cockpit as well as a standalone Aces II flight station for Thrusmaster to showcase their new product in. The task was huge due to the short time scope; however, our team here at SCS is culturally fit for this tasking and were well prepared to work under pressure. Attending the event from our team was Sheldon "Cannon", Craig "Gadroc" Courtney and Randy "Holiday" Shoemake. We didn't let the restraints of pressure hinder our call from the hard work put into building the pit, from the software written to display functioning gauges, to the beautiful artwork and company graphics designed for the pit!!! The event was a private media presentation and preview of the upcoming Thrustmaster A-10 Warthog "H.O.T.A.S." with all types of media present from the wonderful people from SimHQ, Engaget, PC Magazine, and AVSim just to name a few. Matt Wagner from ED or Eagle Dynamics was present at the event also showcasing the new arrival and upcoming release of DCS: A-10C. We can tell you all from hands on experience that the bar has been set and we have never witnessed a level of realism and detail from a simulator that is predicted to release sometime near the last quarter of 2010. Working in conjunction with The Virtual Thunderbirds who recommended us to Thrustmaster and their upcoming release of the Warthog, SC Simulations will be offering an A-10 cockpit Modular kit. The kit will consist of four sections that can be purchased separately; however, much more information will be available in the very near future so stay tuned!!!
Lastly, SCSimulations is in transition to become an official vendor of Thrustmaster products in our store. We are very excited to work with the pioneer of home simulation and are grateful for the opportunities given to us and that will come in time.
